Over the past few months, I've been using the Traffic feature within the Advertising Intellingence Add-In to follow monthly search traffic on a set of keywords. Since Ad Intelligence reports search traffic by month, usually, during the first or second week of the month I see the Add-In update its traffic numbers to reflect the search traffic for the previous month (i.e., August search numbers should have been visible during the first or second week of September).
We're nearing October and my Advertising Intelligence Add-In is not showing August search traffic numbers. The most recent reported numbers are still for July.
Is this an issue with my software or has the update not occurred yet? I would appreciate any information or guidance.
Thanks for the assistance.
For now we recommend using adCenter data. We are currently in the process of consolidating multiple data sources, with the new version of MAI being released later this year we will actually switch to data now already visible in adCenter. The current data in adCenter are also based more on your individual historical account performance.
Our engineering team is working on the issue however at this time we cannot provide an eta for the fix. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I will reach out to the enginners and try to get an ETA. Please note, they are working on this fix and it is definitely a priority to have MAI funcitoning correctly.
As this is the same issue covered under our original conversation, I'm going to add this response over there and remove this post...please use that thread for updates going forward.http://community.microsoftadvertising.com/forums/p/71886/107228.aspx#107228
I just ran this by the MAI team and they said they're showing August data is there and added that September data won't be available until next week. Are you able to see the August data, or is it still stuck in July? If it's the latter, I would recommend contacting our support staff so they can help troubleshoot and resolve this for you: http://community.microsoftadvertising.com/Content/Support.aspx

Thanks for the response Tina. Ad Intelligence Add-In started showing reported numbers for August on Monday. However, the numbers it is reporting are the exact same as the ones they've been forecasting for August since August 11th. The numbers also don't match the numbers reported in AdCenter, which they usually do.
I think there is still a problem. I've been in communication with the support staff for the past three weeks on the matter. I'll continue to keep a lookout for the update.
Thanks again for your help,
Very strange. I think the best course of action is to hand this over to the support folks. Can you give them a call and describe what you're seeing so they can investigate it for you? This definitely sounds like something is amiss and should be checked into.
The same problem is occurring again.
October 2011 was stuck in forecast mode, and when it finally updated it was still the same numbers for October and the November 2011 forecast became the final numbers as well, though they didn't match AdCenter in many cases.
The month of December 2011 is still reporting as 0 ( colored pink as a forecast ) and all future months show 0 as well.
Are you still using this plugin? I was told the engineers were aware of the problem and would be fixing weeks ago, but clearly nothing was fixed.
Can you save the file with missing data and send it over. I am happy to escalate to adsupport again.

o Who requested message: Ricky Poole – MSFT o adCenter username:o Affected account(s), if not all:o Affected campaign(s), if not all:o Brief summary of the issue:
It's not a matter of forwarding a file. No data is being reported for December in the plugin, an no forecast data going forward. I've checked it on multiple machines using the plugin.
Do you yourself have access to a machine running the plugin? Do you see data for December and forecasts for the future months?
I've checked with another person using the plugin using a different login and they are not seeing the data either.
Looks like you are correct. We’ll file another ticket to have this properly resolved.
We apologize for the dealy and thank you for your patience. :-)
Another question - which data is the more accurate data - what appears in the Excel Plugin or in the Desktop Adcenter?
There is a significant difference in the totals reported for various keywords ( at least for what is showing up currently in the plugin ).
Any update or acknowledgement on this ticket?
It's been several weeks since first reported, and one of my original questions was:
Is Microsoft no longer supporting the Keyword Intelligence plugin?
Please let me know, as this really appears to be the case, so we can make other arrangements.
The adcenter data is just older data from the Plugin with the month changed.
So when the engineering team said a month ago they would have a fix in three weeks, that was just a load of dung to buy more time and now the answer is "we have no ETA".
As much as I'd like to use Microsoft, I guess with one bogus estimate ( thanks Engineers ) and now a non estimate I'll just have to see if the competitor has a similar tool ( but that actually works ).
We've asked the engineers for and eta on this fix. Once they can provide this information, I will update this thread.
Question of the day. Any response from the engineers?
Do they have an estimated date for when NEW data will appear in the Excel plugin? A week? A month? Or never, as I have begun to suspect for several weeks.
November 2011 is still the last month with any data. All else is 0.
Any feedback would be welcome.
I apologize, but I haven't received an ETA on this fix. Our engineering team is working on this. As soon as I have more information, I will post in this thread.
Thank you for your patience :-)
