I've installed/uninstalled/re-installed the MS AdCenter for Excel per the newest comments in this forum and the installation guide pdf.
When I start up Excel 2010, I don't see the tab for the AdCenter. I went to File->options->Addins and I can see the MS Advert Intel is listed as inactive. If I select the Manage drop down for Com Addins, I get a new grid that shows MS Advert Intel, I check the box next to it, at the bottom, the message is 'will reload on restart' or similiar. I have restarted Excel, and I loged-out and back in and then restarted Excel, still no MS Advert Tab, and inspecting the Addins panel shows that my changes weren't accepted.
Any ideas on what to try next, I've spent at least 3 hours on this already!?
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the detailed list of things to try. Sorry to say, it didn't resolve my problem.
Sorry that forgot to methion that I'm using Office2010 on Windows XP? (all service packs (I think)). Would that be an issue?
As an FYI,
Thank you for your question.
Please follow these steps and let us know if you are continuing to have this issue.
If none of the above steps solve the issue, try re-installing MAI. The system will ask you to either repair or install the tool. Click Repair, and then follow the instructions. MAI should function properly.
