Yesterday and today I've been receiving two different errors when trying ot retrieve data through the Excel plugin.
"Service Provider for Monthly Traffic is not available. Please try it again later".
Yesterday was a slight variation. Is this a temporary issue?
It is a temporary situation. We are currently doing system enhancements to MAI but that may not be the reason why you are getting the error. Are you using the most recent version of MAI (8.0)? Were all the other features and data present?
Erica - Support Specialist
I've upgraded to MAI 8. There is no longer an option for "Traffic by Month"
In the new version, monthly results seem to be reported completely differently than before. For example, I can't see projections for future months. All I can see is one month. May 2012.
Is there a way to see data in a similar format as before, for example, for one year?
In MAI 8.0 we've collapsed the Traffic By Day and Traffic By Month into the Traffic feature, we've also added weekly grain as a new feature. To use these you may click on the arrow in the Traffic button and choose the Customize menu. You can cusomize the date ranges and date rollups from the dialog that appears.
MAI 8.0 currently gives you data going back till April 2011 (for Monthly rollup). This will be extended to 2 years going forward.
it still does not work correctly, any attempt to customize errors:
'end time period' cannot be later than 3 days earlier than todays date'
Yet it is set to todays date for end date!
MAI 8.0 go away, send back 5.6.1 or what ever the proper system was.
