... When I copy my keywords to Excel nothing happens ... no spreadsheet. I use this feature very frequently as a member of the QuickLaunch team, please help.
We found an issue where Excel isn't automatically started anymore if the temp path has special characters. We will fix this.
For now as a workaround can you open manually the file in the directory Sean described?
after downloading v8.3, I was not able to reproduce the issue you are reporting. I went to the Keywords tab and multi-selected the keywords (using Ctrl+click or Shift+click) that I wanted to bring into an Excel spreadsheet, then clicked "Copy to Excel" and the sheet opened with the highlighted keywords displayed.
Please follow the process above, and if you still are unable to copy the keywords to Excel, let us know.

I use this program daily M-F and use that feature numerous times per week. it always worked until I upgraded to the newest version ... 8.3
I do not have access to that folder ... I just want the program to work as it has in the past. I am in QuickLaunch and use this numerous times per day.
I keep Excel open all day on my PC. That does not make a difference ... ACD will not copy to Excel. Right now I am right clicking on the keywords I want and copying from there and pasting in Excel. There are fields copied that I don't want, but I delete the columns and it works for now. Just need it fixed to work as the older versions.
For users affected by this there are a couple of ways around this. You can export the account or Campaigns or AdGroups you are interested in to a CSV file and open that in Excel or you can select the items click the 'Copy' button and past the items directly in Excel. Either way does the same thing as Copy to Excel.
The fix for this will go out with the upcoming release. In the mean time you can use either of these methods to get your data into Excel.
This was fixed with 8.4 version- Please Upgrade to the newest version.
