Is there anyway to turn off the feature which automatically brings the "Browser" section (which lists the Ad Groups of a Campaign) to the "top" (so to speak). This feature just makes the Ad Group which was selected show at the top of this Browser navigation section instead of just leaving it alone (meaning leave the list where the user scrolled to).
Does anyone else find it annoying that this happens automatically?
It seems pointless to dedicate any resources to bringing this list to the top because really there I don't see a need for this to happen automatically, and it causes a slight halt which can be really frustrating... especially if you click on the wrong Ad Group and then click to the one you want, but after the halt, the list shifts and you end up in another wrong Ad Group!
I think it would be a great improvement if this was removed from the application or if there was a way to disable it in the settings.
There is not a feature that will allow you to disable the 'Browser" tree on the left. For users that have multiple sub accounts, this allows them to quickly select the appropiate account they do wish to work on. You do have the option of "Hiding" the mini-browser tree from view by clicking the small arrow next to the "Browser" heading. Alternativly, you can also use the hot-key of [CTRL+ALT+B] which will also hide the tree from view.
