My name is Tom Hyde and I would like to introduce myself as the primary contact for all shopping queries for Ciao.co.uk, Microsoft's shopping partner here in the UK.
Currently Ciao powers the shopping tab on Bing as well as lots of editorial content on the MSN UK website and I know there has been a lot of interest about Bing shopping in the UK on the forum so hopefully this post gives you a point of reference for all things UK & Europe based.
We work on a CPC (cost per click) basis whereby you only get charged when a user clicks through to a product on your site. All our agreements work on a rolling basis, and can be cancelled at any time with 14 days notice in the unlikely event of you deciding that it is not working for you. There is no set-up or administration charges nor minimum joining fee. To help you with your budgets you can also cap your monthly spend on the site and also run your listings for a trial period to test the conversion rate and ROI.
Please find my direct details below, and please drop me a line if you are interested in listing your products in the UK and we can discuss CPC rates and any other questions you may have.

Will this be the case for the foreseeable future - or is it possible that this will change to operate in a similar way to the USA in the near future?
Thanks for the message. To confirm you are correct, Ciao will continue to power the shopping tab on Bing in the UK, as well as work on a CPC metric with our retailers, for the foreseeable future.
Obviously if this changes i will let the forum know and in the meantime if you have any questions please let me know.
Will Ciao will be the permanent shopping tab for Bing shopping uk?
Or will the UK retailers will get a chance to submit their product feed for free there like Google?
Just sent Tom an email but it bounced back. Does anyone know the contact for Bing Shopping in the UK?
Does anyone know if Tom Hyde is still with Microsoft or has he moved on to another job? If he has moved on, will the administrator of this forum take down his details. It is misleading to post details of officers that no longer represent the company.
I tried contacting him about the onboarding of UK merchants to Bing Shopping feeds but just got brick walled.
Will Microsoft representatives monitoring this forum respond to our inquiries or let us know what is going on?
Thanks in advance
To confirm I no longer work at Microsoft, however please do find an alternative contact below. Vincenzo will be able to assist you on all Ciao UK queries.
