I am attempting to login to the feeds.adcenter.microsoft.com ftp and I am now getting a 530 User Cannot Login error response. An hour ago, I was able to login, but now I cannot. Maybe it has to do with too many failed logins (I mistook the password character "|" for a "l".
Is there a way to reset or designate my own password?
To protect your account from unauthorised use we have a security policy in place that disables your account if the FTP password is entered incorrectly a number of times. Please wait a few hours then copy and paste your password, as Andrew suggested. If you are still unable to log into your account please contact the person who sent you your welcome kit. They will be able to reset your password for you.
I just recommend copy and pasting the password into your ftp program. Save the password for later use. You can likely request a password change from Bing, but the wait time for the new password might be more trouble than it's worth.
Yes, that seems to have fixed the problem. A few hours after I posted this, the login worked again. I had used the wrong password a few times, so it must have locked me out.
