We are a feed aggregator submitting many feeds to Bing Shopping. We are seeing almost all of our FTP uploads failing with a "User cannot log in" error when attempting to log into the FTP server - feeds.adcenter.microsoft.com. This happened to almost all our feeds for the past four days. When I try to resubmit them right now, I'm seeing the same errors. We have not changed any FTP settings on our side or in Bing Shopping.
Basically, your FTP server is no longer accepting feed updates.
This issue is affecting accounts that have been working fine with status "Account Status: Active (Publishing)" for a long time.
Hello atensoft and John L Rice,
We have resolved recent issues regarding FTP uploading. I am glad to see that they are working.

Bing Shopping Onboarding Team
Hello Shailesh and Adcenter,
Just an FYI, my company started having this same problem today. Our daily uploads were working fine for many months, including yesterday's (07-15-2012) but today while it seems our user name is recognized, our password may not be, or???
We've tried connecting through our usual DTS upload package as well as with WinSCP, both inside and outside our firewall, but always with the same result. Here is a log sample:
. 2012-07-16 11:01:59.414 Connecting to feeds.adcenter.microsoft.com ...
. 2012-07-16 11:01:59.414 The requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.
Well, never mind, it is working again here. It may be coincidence but worth a try; my boss came over to help and suggested trying to do an FTP log in from a DOS command prompt. That worked so we tried our DTS package again and it also worked!?
Yesterday was the first day there were no errors, but the problem is back today. This continues to be a major problem.
I would also add that sporadic failures of Bing's FTP server have been occurring for many months now, and they have just gotten been much worse over the past week. We've emailed Bing about it many times before already, and also posted in this forum about it when the error rate has been too high.
My guess is that Microsoft's FTP server is overloaded and/or misconfigured, and is rejecting the logins at times.
Looks like the FTP issue has been resolved since 7/20. I got a response back on 7/23 from Bing saying engineering fixed a technical issue. Thanks Bing.
