So I applied a coupon and I'm wondering how the coupon works. My balance says '0.00' although I applied a coupon for XX.XX.
When I am billed will it automatically be taken off with the coupon?
And...I have my ad status at "Active" since 2 days ago yet I have not received any clicks. I'm paying .13cents per click btw.
Hi PC Power Speed,
Your balance should be ‘0.00’ since this is not charging your card. You can check the balance on your Promo Code (coupon) by going to Accounts & Billing Tab; Billing; Select the range dates for the activity, and you can see your coupon balance.
You mention you have not got any clicks, Have you gotten Impressions? We can control your clicks as this is performed when the searcher actually clicks on your add. The impressions are the amount of time your ad is showed to a searcher. The amount you are paying per click should not affect on your clicks count either, this is just for the position your ad would have when showed to the searcher.

No impressions, 0 clicks; nothing.
Are your keyword bids still $0.13? If they are, I'm confident that is the issue. If your keyword bid is to low the system won't even show your ad. Under the Tools tab click on the link Research Keywords located on the Research and Optimization Tools section. This tool allows you to enter your keywords (type them in manually then click search) and then provides you with the average cost per click (bid) as well as the number of times it's been searched. Please keep in mind that the numbers provided in the tool are an average for your market but it will give you a better idea of where your bids should be. We also offer Microsoft Advertising Intelligence under the tools tab. This tool is very similar to the Research Keyword tool but is more detailed. MAI provides you with the search and bid results based on the match type of your keyword.
