Hi Fellow members,
I have been reading a lot about rich media ads, filmstrip ads, video ads etc....on the Microsoft Advertising Community website. Many Microsoft big personalities have been writing time and again about their new innovative features etc... But I am wondering when would the advertisers be getting the benefits of using these different ad formats in their Bing adCenter account?
Is there any limited access for the advertisers to utilize these different ad formats? If yes, then by which time will Microsoft be able to provide these features to most of the advertisers advertising across US, Canada?
Any feedback on this will be much appreciated.
Yes, RAIS is a limited offering at this time but stay tuned to the blog for updates as they become available.

Can anybody from Microsoft or some experienced advertiser please address this query?
Before we dive into this question, do you have an account manager?
I myself takes care of the client accounts. So, I am the Client Account Manager. Let me know what you require?
I'm looking into this....I hope to have an update for you by Wednesday.
Thank you for your patience :-)
I am waiting for your update because I am really excite to use these kind of ads and looking forward to that.
I am looking forwarding to your reply. It's been a week. Any inputs?
I apologize for my delayed response. Rich ads in search typically performs best with branded terms, is this the type of campaign you would like to run?
Can you please explain in detail when you say branded terms? So shall I assume that it's not available to normal advertisers who run their small to Mid size business on Bing?
Hope you are well :-)
What I found was this came out of pilot in October and is currently being offered to premium advertisers for their brand and navigational terms.
I hopw this helps answer your question.
Thanks for updating this thread. So you are confirming that image, rich media ad formats etc... are yet to be open for small to mid size advertisers and Microsoft is giving this privilege to only premium advertisers.
I am wondering whether I should consider it as a limitation in terms of various ad formats available for non premium advertisers who are spending dollars in adCenter everyday.
Just a related question - Is it possible for advertisers to create/upload image ads for content network? I didn't see an option for this - only text ad and wap ad :(
Hi Jijo Jo,
As Ricky confirmed it above that image and rich media ads are currently available to the premium advertisers only.
Si I guess advertisers like you and me have to wait till it becomes available to everyone :)
