I recently had problems signing in. Then I got an email, after phoning through to support, that my account will remail closed because it had failed a security issue! Despite emails and conversations I have been unable to find out what happened. There seems to be a lot of this going on when I search around here and the internet.
It is rather disturbing that I spent £60 fine tuning my ads only to loose everything with a simple whim from Microsoft. The address on file and the card used for payment were all mine so I fail to see what issue could have occured. The unfortunate thing about all this is that they are unwilling to discuss the problem so I remain unable to get into my account to take a copy of all the ads I had running.
Looks like Adwords is where I will have to take my business - but just thought I would warn others. Sticking to the rules doesn't always mean your account will be safe. I made an investment into the fine tuning of my ads only for Microsoft to play bully boys tactics and pull it all down!
I have exactly the same situation! I do not understand Microsoft .. They do not want to get the money??
Unfortunately I cannot help you in this forum. Per customer support this case has been investigated and we consider the case closed. You may respond to the email you received for further clarification.

Thanks, but already did. This really is just a warning to others that this is how Microsoft Adcenter treats its customers even if they follow the rules. Personally I wouldn't use it again even if they reopened the account as I think the risk is too great. Like I said, investment is required to fine tune an ad. If you can just shut down accounts at a whim, it make making an investment to risky.
Besides, Google gets 80 percent of the searches, so little point bothering with the likes of bing and yahoo. And Google treats its customers with respect and professionalism. Clicks are a little higher, but the ROI (return of investment), is much greater.
My company gives me a 10,000 Pound PPC advertising budget - Adcenter doesn't want it, so Google and Facebook ads will!
I have had the exact same problem, no wonder Bing and Yahoo cannot keep up with google!
